A gift to yourself

As a "recovering perfectionist", harnessing the power of doing less and giving myself grace has been one of the biggest discoveries for this year. Saying: "I don't have to do this, the world will keep turning" is an amazing gift to yourself. Truly.

I woke up feeling very blue, yesterday. My best guess is that the feeling was based on overwhelm. Every week, there are a ton of tasks on my plate. My IT job comes with many responsibilities, and I also have to give my nutrition & strength training clients the attention they deserve. On top of that, there's acquisition of new clients as a continuous task, meaning I keep churning out content (🤮) to please the algorithms of varying social media platforms.

This last task is one that I don't particularly enjoy. There's very little payoff, in the sense that I only rarely get new clients that way. Most new clients come to me via word of mouth.

So, this has been the gift to myself this week: I'm not churning out content for my nutrition & strength training coaching company. No one will miss it, no one will care.

Actually, I have to cap the amount of clients I have right now. I have room for 2 more clients, that's it. If you want to work on your lifestyle (meaning: nutrition and/or strength training), hit me up! You can always plan a free intro.

I can help you lose fat, get stronger, eat healthy, in a way that fits your (busy) life. You'll learn a lot about your habits, your why's, and your long term goals regarding your healthy will become clearer. I don't promote fad diets, or crash diets. If this sounds like something that resonates with you, feel free to plan your intro call.

Meanwhile, I'm considering lowering the amount of busy work I'm giving myself (churning out memes and reels for Instagram) permanently. I'd rather write for this website, as it's fully owned by my lonesome. No crazy algorithms, no ads, just my own little space on this crazy Interwebs.
